The protocol is logically presented to make the procedure easy for both novices and experts. Chemicals in the kit were selected to allow for the most effective crosslinking. Reagents include a non-cleavable heterobifunctional crosslinking agent for stability and disulfide reductants and thiolation reagents to allow all possibilites of -SH groups to be coupled. A colorimetric reagent is also included to allow for optional reaction efficiency determination.
Delivery information: The kit includes Sulfo-SMCC crosslinking agent (2 mg); 10X Activation/Conjugation Buffer (20 mL); BupH Phosphate Buffered Saline (2 packs); 2-Mercaptoethylamine-HCI (6 mg); Immobilised reductant (0.2 mL); SATA (2 mg); Dimethylformamide (DMF, 1 mL); Hydroxylamine-HCI (5 mg); Dextran Desalting Columns (2x10 mL); Column extender (2 each); Cysteine-HCI (20 mg); and Ellman’s reagent (2 mg).
