Stand alone, freestanding Biohazard Shields taper back at an angle for easy viewing. This design features a deep base, which offers a large work area for test tube racks, pipets, and other accessories. The Slim-Line shield is a narrower version designed to allow easier access to the work site. The smallest cell-counter shield is adjustable and may be used with small manual or semi-automated hematology counters. Its base slides under the counter for added stability. These acrylic, adjustable shields may be mounted with feet and adjustable arms to a counter or attached to equipment such as a hematotology counter with double sided tape. Benchtop tapered shields provide more arm flexibilty and increased arm movement, reducing arm fatigue. The lower portion is only 30.5cm (12") wide and the top portion of the shield is 50.8cm (20") wide to provide the maximum barrier between personnel and hazardous materials. Shields are tapered back at an angle for easy viewing. Adjustable Beta shields are clear and can be adjusted 20° from a vertical position to accommodate space requirements. Two stabilizers support the shield on both sides to prevent tipping. The extra large sizes are especially good for use on the floor. Flex shields are mounted to 45.7cm (18") flexible tubes to position the shield. The 10.2x10.2cm (4x4") base of each flexible tube can be mounted to a counter or a wall with screws or double sided tape. The Beta Flex shield is supported by two flexible tubes to hold the shield in desired position. The Septa shield is a protective shield with base that is worn around the neck and held in place with a soft, adjustable Velcro® strap. It is lightweight (9oz.) and protects the face and neck from splashes, sprays, and abrasions. Balance Shields are available for Mettler and Sartorius balances to protect samples during weighing. They enclose the balance, leaving controls exposed for easy access. The hinged lid offers direct access to the weighing pan. A 5.1cm (2") hole on the top of the lid allows for sample dispensing. The standard large and small balance shields are designed to protect sensitive measurings from drafts, while maintaining a controlled environment. A removable lid allows additional access when pouring liquids or adding dry chemicals from the top. Both shields have three sides, each with a notch at the bottom to position a power cord where needed.

Slim-line profile shields enable the technician to reach around the shield with both hands for easy access to the work site. The cell counter shield fits on small manual and semi-automatic hematology counters, with a base that slides under the counter for added stability. Small shields are available with adjustable arms that attach to counter tops or hematology counters to provide protection from blood aerosols. Tapered biohazard/beta shields feature a curved lower portion and wide top to allow arm flexibility and increased movement. Large shields are adjustable from their vertical positions for protection. The Face Protector is a reusable shield with base that is comfortably worn around the neck and held in place by a soft, velcro adjustable strap.
