Smooth surface cell culture roller bottles come in long and short forms, and are made of high grade polystyrene for stability and optical clarity, with physical surface treatment for improved cell adhesion.

Two-phase blow-molding procedure creates seamless construction so that liquids will not leak.

Screw caps are high-density polyethylene and come in standard seal (non-vented) or vented filter. Caps feature short threads and large knurls for improved grip and easy opening with a 2/3 turn. Standard seal cap sits flush with rim of bottle to prevent significant gas exchange. Vented filter cap guarantees tightly closed, contamination-free cultivation. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polytetrafluorethane (PTFE) filter has hydrophobic capillary pore membrane, with defined pore size 0.2 µm. Filter provides optimal protection against contamination and a high gaseous exchange rate which enables mass cultivation of cells using biocarbonate buffer and CO₂.

Colors: clear polystyrene roller bottle with black graduation print and white writing area, blue cap, white filter. Sterilized by irradiation (SAL 10⁻³) and tissue culture treated.
Temperature range: –20 to 60°C (–4 to 140°F)
