The 2019-2020 science olympiad kits were developed to provide an introduction to each event and are not intended to be an 'out of the box solution' for competition. students and competitors should practice innovation and creativity to make their design their own competition-ready device/activity.

Delivery information: This kit features the following components, hand selected by the science olympiad organization: 50 g hooked weight ×2, 200 g hooked weight ×2, 500 g hooked weight, knife edge clamp ×3, single sheave pulley ×4, double sheave pulley ×2, simple machines simple wedge model, wood ruler, simple machines lever model, wood wedges, twine, and gear set (12, 20, 30 and 40 tooth) ×2. Supplemental component that may be useful in your investigations and experimentation is the demonstration balance, which can be purchased separately below.
