TET3 or Tet methylcytosine deoxygenase 3 is a methylcytosine dioxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine. TET3 which is a member of the ten-eleven translocation (TET) gene family is involved in myelopoiesis, and defects in TET3 have been associated with several myeloproliferative disorders. TET plays an important role in embryonic stem cell maintenance and inner cell mass cell specification (1). TET3 play an important role in the DNA methylation process (2). TET3 Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Proteins, Methylcytosine Dioxygenase Proteins, Cancer, and Cell Cycle research.

TET3 Protein is stored in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. TET3 Protein is suitable for use in Western Blot. Expect a band approximately ~140kDa on specific lysates or tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
