DeviceLink Hub Cloud-Based Wireless Monitoring, Thermo Scientific
A new, easy-to-install and configure laboratory equipment monitoring solution that works with the Thermo Fisher Cloud.

  • Simplified dashboard reporting
  • Improved productivity with automated data collection, storage, and mobile access
  • For cold storage equipment, it monitors cabinet and ambient temperature using built-in temperature sensors (RTD)
  • For CO2 incubators, it monitors chamber temperature and gas levels from the incubator data output connection

Today’s labs require productivity and efficiency. Therefore, we’re introducing the Thermo Scientific™ DeviceLink™ Hub monitoring solution, which harnesses the power of the web to help you save time and effort and allow you to focus on science. Our easy-to-install solution works with the Thermo Fisher™ Cloud to monitor conditions inside your lab’s refrigerators, freezers, ultra-low freezers, and CO2 incubators.

For cold storage equipment, the DeviceLink Hub monitoring solution reports cabinet and ambient temperature using built-in resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) as well as alarms and events. For CO2 incubators, the DeviceLink Hub monitoring solution reports chamber temperature, gas levels, alarms, and alerts from the incubator data output connection.

Help improve productivity with automated data collection, storage, and mobile access. Access data anytime, anywhere—data and alarms from monitored lab equipment are securely stored in the Cloud and sent to the user via email and mobile-phone notification.

Streamlined dashboard-style reporting reduces time spent interpreting data. Easy to set up and cost-effective. Unlike traditional methods, the DeviceLink Hub monitoring solution operates on a client-cloud architecture, requiring minimal IT support. No need to install sensors—the only plug-in is the equipment data port to read the parameters directly from the factory-installed sensors.

After establishing an account on Thermo Fisher Cloud, follow this three-step installation and configuration: 1. Plug in and power on the device; 2. Connect the DeviceLink Hub hardware to your equipment; 3. Configure the DeviceLink Hub solution through the simple-to-use mobile or desktop interface. Our commitment to data security–security is our highest priority. We understand that the security of data and protocols is critical, both to your research and to the publication process. To help ensure high levels of protection and security, we’ve built Thermo Fisher Cloud on the world-class Amazon Web Services™ (AWS) cloud-computing platform. With the AWS platform, all of your data is stored in highly secure AWS data centers managed by compliance programs and audit safeguards.
