Potassium Acid Tartrate, Powder, FCC or potassium bitartrate is called cream of tartar in the food industry. It is useful to stabilize egg whites and whipped cream, prevents sugar syrups from crystallizing and reduces discoloration of boiled vegetables. The FCC grade meets the requirements of the Food Chemical Codex indicates and is suitable for all food, beverage and nutritional supplement applications.
