Hydromorphone Hydrochloride (CII), USP Hydromorphone Hydrochloride (CII), USP is the water soluble salt of hydromorphone, an opioid and analgesic drug. It is legally considered a narcotic and commonly used in hospitals to act on the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. It is a DEA CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - SCHEDULE II drug and does require DEA registration by the customer and completion of DEA Form 222. Certification of Available Procurement Quota required for certain customers. All Spectrum Chemical manufactured USP grade products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
