Wally GT™ re-imagines the CO₂ incubator. Units in the Wally series have rectangular chamber which hug the wall, saving almost 18" of aisle or hallway space over traditional boxy 'cube' designs. Novel mounting options, including wall and rack-mount, open up new areas in the laboratory to CO₂ incubators, increasing capacity without consuming your space.
This chamber design also cuts out the 'dead space' found at the back of square shelves, providing almost twice the usable shelf area as conventional same-size 'cube' units.
Wally GT™ re-examines how an incubator assures culture quality. It starts by providing Water Jacket thermal protection, but with none of the hassle. It also stays above 30 °C for nine hours after a power failure, versus one hour or less for comparable air jacketed units. Unlike water-jackets, it uses sealed zero-maintenance technology, with no need to fill, and no worries about leaks. The entry level Wally model offers the convenience of proven direct heat temperature control.
Contamination control on these units is similarly unique. ISO5 HEPA-flitered chamber air in three minutes, and optional H₂O₂ chamber sterilization. In contrast to long and energy-hungry heat based processes, the H₂O₂ cycle consumes almost no power, using a proven and naturally decomposing sterilant to achieve validatable chamber sterilization in under two hours. Unlike existing H₂O₂ cycles, this one is also easy to use, with no post cycle clean up, requiring less than five minutes of user time per cycle.
Wally series is easier to use than any existing incubator, introducing unique hands-free doors, smart-glass culture viewing, a slim chamber where spills can’t hide, and intuitive breadcrumb-navigation touchscreen controller.
