Storage: Store cryopreserved vials in liquid nitrogen, growth medium at 4 °C in dark, subculture reagent kit at -20 °C and the reagents at 4 °C upon thawing.
These epidermal melanocytes produce melanin, thus a useful cell model in the study of hyperpigmentation through accentuated melanocyte proliferation and differentiation as well as progression of melanocytic neoplasia.
Delivery information: Kit contains an ampoule of cryopreserved HEM, 500 mL of Melanocyte Growth Medium and a Subculture Reagent Kit (including 100 mL each of Hank's Buffered Saline Solution, trypsin/EDTA, and trypsin neutralizing solution).
