Spreaders Inoculating Loops and Needles
Hardy Diagnostic Loops are sterile and free of lubricants, oils, and electrostatic charges

  • Loops and needle shaft improves grip
  • Packed in resealable plastic pouches
  • Non-calibrated inoculating loop used to transfer various liquids, suspensions, bacteria, and other specimens
  • Speedstreaks™ line of disposable inoculating loops

Hexagonal loop shaft improves grip, while the ultra smooth loop surfaces allow for easy streaking

Hexagonal needle shaft also improves grip. Needles have a 1.45mm diameter, 20cm in length, are sterile and free of lubricants, oils, and electrostatic charges. Color coded for easy product identification. Packed in re-sealable plastic pouches for use with the LoopCaddy Stand.

Non-calibrated inoculating loop used to transfer various liquids, suspensions, bacteria, and other specimen from storage containers to culture media and/or petri dishes for purposes of study and measurement. Made from only high-grade nickel-chromium alloys to ensure repeated, non-calibrated usage.

SpeedStreaks™ are Hardy Diagnostics line of disposable inoculating loops. The loops are available in several styles and are color coded for convenience. The 1ul and 10 µl loops, each come in two different rigidities, rigid-hard, or flexible-soft, to fit a variety of streaking preferences. An inoculating needle is also available formed in the rigid-hard plastic. The loops are manufactured using a process that smoothes the edges, free of plastic burrs and will not gouge the agar surface. The loops are free from coatings and electrostatic charges that might interfere with wetting and transfer of the volume contained in the loop. The 1ul and 10 µl loops are calibrated and each box of 1000 loops comes shipped with a Certificate of Calibration that authenticates the accuracy of the loops. The loops are certified to deliver a volume within 20% of their stated volume. The loops are certified using the Colorimetric Evans Blue Dye Procedure.
