Tissue Micro Arrays (TMA) are a collection of multiple tissue cores arranged in an XY fashion inside a paraffin block.
- Collection of multiple tissues
- Hallowed tip to remove cores
- Pre-formed paraffin recipient blocks
The Quick-Ray technique uses a hallowed tip to remove cores of 1, 2, 3, 5 mm from tissue which is embedded in paraffin (donor block). The extracted tissue is then inserted into pre-formed paraffin recipient blocks.
Kit is complete with extractor, replaceable punch tips in 1, 2, 3 and 5 mm size; recipient blocks of 1, 2, 3 and 5 mm size; a 1 mm punch guide; recipient base mold.
Each recipient block creates 300-400 tissue sections at 4-5 microns. Kit comes with complete instructions for use with packaging.
