>95% Pure HEK 293 cells expressed Human recombinant IL-3
ED is typically 0.5 to 2 ng/mL.The activity was determined by the dose dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF-1 cells (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line).
IL3 is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It stimulates colony formation of megakaryocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages from bone marrow cultures. It is also involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders.
