LYZL1(Lysozyme-like 1) is also named as LYC2 and belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family. It is involved in the hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in a peptidoglycan and between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrins. LYZL1 has two isoforms with the molecular weight of 17 kDa and 22 kDa. The full length protein has a signal peptide of 19 amino acids and a glycosylation site. This antibody detects the N-terminal of LYZL1.
