Tubes Microtubes

The Microtube Rack System™ offers a combination of polypropylene 0.65 ml MicroTubes, 1.1 ml MicroTubes or TubeStrips, MicroCap Strips, and 8×12 MicroRacks

The system is ideal for large volume procedures involving direct sample transfer from microtiter plates to racked storage tubes. Applications include harvesting of hybridoma culture supernatant; CMV, HSV, and HTLV-III testing; uptake and binding assays; or EIA/RIA serial dilution processes. MicroTubes are glass-clear and manufactured from natural polypropylene. All components, except MicroCap Strips, are autoclavable.

The design complements multi-channel pipettors and a variety of robotic workstations. Microracks feature an 8×12 hole configuration for rapid processing. The alphanumeric, non-reversing rack and lid ensure positive sample identification. The lid, which features individual condensation rings above each tube, prevents cross-contamination. Systems can be centrifuged, or stacked for easy storage of biological samples.
