The Secretin receptor, a member of the Secretin Receptor subfamily, mediates the effects of the gastrointestinal hormone secretin which include secretion of bicarbonate, enzymes, and potassium ion by the pancreas. It is believed that a different receptor subtype is responsible for the inhibitory effects of secretin on gastric acid secretion.

Secretin Receptor antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 1:10000 - 1:50000, Western Blot starting at 1:250 - 1:2000, immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 μg/mL, and immunofluorescence.

PBS, 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

Aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
