Anti-FOXO1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: [7h3]]
Antibodies
This antibody recognizes human FKHR (Forehead in Rhabdomyosarcoma), a 70 Kd protein that is a member of a subfamily of the forkhead homeotic gene family of transcription factors. Recent studies have shown that this protein can act as either a co-activator or a co-repressor of nuclear receptor activity. This action is mediated through the LXXLL motif found in the C-terminus of the FKHR protein. This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.

FOXO1 antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 1:10000, Western Blot starting at 1:500 - 1:2000, immunohistochemistry starting at 1:200, immunofluorescence starting at 1:200 - 1:1000, and flow cytometry starting at 1:200 - 1:400.
