Antibodies
TL1A is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It is a TNF like ligand for DR3 and TR6/DcR3 and functions as a T cell costimulator. TL1A is abundantly expressed in endothelial cells, but is not expressed in either B or T cells. The expression of this protein is inducible by TNF and IL 1 alpha. TL1A can activate NF kappa B and MAP kinases, and acts as an autocrine factor to induce apoptosis in endothelial cells and may function as an angiogenesis inhibitor. TL1A is a longer variant of TL1.

ELISA:
Indirect:
To detect hTL-1A by indirect ELISA (using 100 ?L/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 ?g/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTL-1A.

Sandwich
To detect hTL-1A by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ?L/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 ?g/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with our biotinylated Anti-Human TL-1A as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTL-1A.

Western Blot:
To detect hTL-1A by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ?g/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTL-1A is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions

The reconstituted antibody can temporarily be stored at 2-8°C. Long term storage at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
