Gel Systems include UV transparent gel trays, safety-interlock lids, 9 mm-thick acrylic that resists cracking and warping, color-coded sealed platinum electrodes, and comb specifications printed on every comb for easy identification. Compact gel systems include “Pivot-Cast” technology. Simply pour an agarose gel into the UV transparent tray, rotate tray 90°, remove comb(s), and run gel. The UV transparent tray also includes a fluorescent ruler for easy migration determination.
