The DNA Band Excisor speeds up processing time and reduces exposure of nucleic acids and user’s hands to damaging UV light. The thin, blade-like end is perfect for excising bands from agarose or polyacrylamide gels with precision, while the spatula end is beveled to help scoop and transport the excised piece of gel to a test tube. The DNA Band Excisor can be discarded in standard trash receptacles; no need for sharps containers.
