Antibodies

MVP is identical to Lung-Resistance Related Protein (LRP). Treatment of cells with estradiol increases the amount of MVP in nuclear extract. Antibodies to progesterone and glucocorticoid receptors are also able to co-immunoprecipitate the MVP.

For IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method for 30 mins at RT. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. For IP: Use at an assay dependent dilution. For WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.
