Anti-GAST Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Antibodies
Gastrin is a hormone whose main function is to stimulate the secretion of HCL by the gastric mucosa, which results in gastrin formation inhibition. Gastrin also acts as a mitogeneic factor for gastrointestinal epithelial cells. Gastrin has two biologically active peptide forms, G34 and G17.

This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work allon formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required. We suggest an incubation period of 30-60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user.
