You Searched For: PTFE Tubing

PTFE tubing has high chemical resistance, low and high temperature capability, resistance to weathering, low friction, and electrical and thermal insulation. The mechanical properties of these chemical resistant tubing are low compared to other plastics, but they are often enhanced by adding fillers such as glass fibers or carbon. When filled, PTFE tubing maintains its excellent chemical and temperature resistance properties, while fillers improve mechanical strength, stability, and wear resistance. Because of its non-reactive nature, it is often used in containers and pipework for reactive and corrosive chemicals.
