PFA tubing withstands high temperatures well, provides superior low-temperature toughness, excellent chemical resistance and is highly resistant to fire damage. PFA tubing is the preferred tool to use in applications requiring extremely low level of chemical extractable and environments with hostile conditions involving chemical, thermal, or mechanical stress for extended service periods. PFA offers high melt strength unlike PTFE and FEP tubing, stability at high processing temperatures, excellent crack and stress resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and more than 10 times the flex life of FEP tubing.
